JUmp to Treatment Plan

Right now you may be wondering:

The urinary system is made up of the kidneys, bladder, ureters, and urethra.

A urinary tract infection, or UTI, can happen when germs get into any part of the urinary system.

Some symptoms of a UTI include:

- Pain while peeing

- Pungent urine

- Strong urge to urinate that doesn't go away

- Urinating frequently in small amounts

- Cloudy looking urine

Pre-menopausal:

For pre-menopausal women, UTIs are caused by pathogenic E. coli bacteria and are frequently linked to sexual activity.

It is very important to pee after sex in order to flush out bacteria from the urethra in order to reduce the risk of a UTI.

UTIs can also be caused by frequently holding urine for too long.

Post-menopausal:

Post-menopausal women may experience chronic UTIs regardless of sexual activity.

UTIs in people who have gone through menopause are often associated with physical changes related to estrogen levels. As a result, bladder and pelvic floor muscles can be affected.

UTIs are the most common bacterial infection for women. They become increasingly common in people who have gone through menopause.

It is estimated that over 50% of post menopausal women experience recurring UTIs.

Bladder Prolapse:

After menopause, some women develop a condition called bladder prolapse or cystocele.

This means that the bladder drops down from its usual place and pushes against the vagina.

When this happens, it can be hard to completely empty the bladder and as a result, the urine stays in the bladder.

The leftover urine can become a place where bacteria grows and causes infection.

Less Estrogen:

After menopause, the body makes less estrogen.

Estrogen keeps the lining of the bladder and urinary tract healthy.

When there's less estrogen, the tissue can become thin and dry. This is called an atrophic bladder.

When the bladder lining gets thinner, it cannot protect itself as well.

1. Suppositories (medication inserted vaginally)

2. Topical Cream (cream applied directly to the vulva tissue)

3. Supplements (Dietary supplements taken orally)

NeuEve is the first and only natural remedy that uses nutrients from every angle : orally, topically and vaginally, to solve your health issues.

NeuEve works by a new (but also very old) concept, through direct topical nourishment.

Our products nourish all of the tissues and glands in the pelvic area, which help restore all of its lost function.

These nutrients promote collagen and elastin production which restores suppleness and elasticity to the vaginal canal.

What Can I Do About Chronic UTIs?

Let's Break Down Your Treatment Options:

Estrogen is often recommended as a treatment for chronic UTIs, particularly in people who have gone through menopause.

This is because after menopause, estrogen levels drop, which can cause these vaginal tissues to become thinner and weaker. Estrogen therapy is often recommended to help strengthen these tissues.

However, estrogen isn't the best option for everyone and has a lot of risks that outweigh the rewards.

A study from Harvard University provided evidence that estrogen directly causes breast cancer.

Estrogen also comes with a big price tag, averaging around $325 per month and can range between $100 and $550 a month depending on the type and dose used.

There are also some people who cannot safely take estrogen, such as breast cancer survivors and people who are taking certain medications.

When you have a chronic UTI and visit a doctor, the doctor may prescribe antibiotics.

Antibiotics may be good at clearing the infection, however, when UTIs are chronic, this isn’t the best solution.

Think of your bladder as a castle and the bacteria causing the UTI as intruders trying to break in to the castle.

Imagine antibiotics as castle guards chasing away the bacteria or “intruders”.

The guards may be able to chase away the intruders the first time, but, if the guards keep using the same methods each time, the invaders start learning how to avoid capture and can break in more easily.

This is how antibiotic resistance works. If antibiotics are used too often, the bacteria causing the infection can become resistant to them.

Additionally, taking antibiotics can sometimes lead to yeast infections.

This is because antibiotics kill the good bacteria in the body, allowing yeast to grow more than usual.

To illustrate this, think of your vagina as a beautiful garden.

Think of the good bacteria in the garden as flowers and helpful bees.

Think of the bad bacteria that causes yeast infection as weeds, and antibiotics as weed killers.

When you use weed killers, it gets rid of the weeds, but, it can also kill the flowers and the bees (aka the good bacteria).

By getting rid of the "flowers" this ultimately creates more space for the "weeds" to grow.

We all know that drinking a lot of water is important and has numerous health benefits.

One of these benefits is that it can reduce your risk of developing a UTI because it flushes harmful bacteria out of the urinary tract.

Frequent hydration may work well for younger women, but may be less effective for people who have gone through menopause.

The reason for this is because atrophied bladders have reduced cell shedding.

Flushing urine won’t remove unshed cells, therefore, bacteria attached to the bladder will persist.

This makes treatment of UTIs more difficult in older women.

Use:

1. Urinary Support Supplements

2. NeuEve Velvet

3. NeuEve Salve - Gentle

How Do These Work?

The urinary support supplements have two potent ingredients - cranberry and D-mannose.

Cranberry has been used to prevent UTIs for a long time.

This is because they contain polyphenols that stop bacteria from sticking to the bladder.

This means that the bacteria can't cause infection as easily.

D-mannose is another natural way to fight UTIs, especially if you get them often.

It works by sticking to the bad bacteria so they can't stick to your body. Then, the bacteria can't cause an infection as easily

NeuEve Silk and NeuEve Velvet are suppositories (medication inserted vaginally). Designed to strengthen the vaginal wall.

Topical cream applied to the vulva tissues to help the vaginal wall grow stronger and the bladder skin to grow thicker.

In addition to NeuEve, we also recommend lifestyle changes:

Frequent urination can be helpful when it comes to preventing UTIs because it flushes harmful bacteria out of the urinary tract.

To make sure you urinate regularly, stay hydrated!

Choose pads over tampons for overnight

If you have your period, change menstrual products every time you use the restroom

Do not douche or use feminine hygiene sprays or powders

Do not use any products containing perfumes or fragrances in the genital area

Keep the genital area clean, especially before and after sex

Take showers instead of baths. It's totally ok to enjoy a bath from time to time, but, avoid using bath oils or bubble bath with fragrances

Pee immediately after sex (no matter how badly you want to stay in bed)

Wipe from front to back

Avoid allowing certain types of lubricants to come into contact with your vagina such as:

- Oil based lubricants such as baby oil and petroleum jelly

- Flavored lubricants (especially ones with sugar)

- Lubricants with parabens

- Lubricants with dyes or fragrances

Avoid frequently wearing tight-fitting pants.

You don't have to give up your favorite leggings, but, adding a pair of lightweight linen pants into your wardrobe can make a huge difference (not to mention you'll look great in them!)

Wear cotton underwear and change it at least once a day (after your shower is best)

Our Story

As a kid, my mom was an OB-GYN, and my dad was a scientist. I admired them.

I became an OBGYN and scientist to bring people happiness and help people too.

When I turned 50, 3 husbands in my community abandoned their families.

Saying “all men are dogs” felt good but didn’t solve the root of the problem.

Suddenly I had an idea! A new product for women's sexual health.

Excited, I pitched it to my employer at the time: a Big Pharma company.

They laughed at me and dismissed my idea. I felt embarrassed.

I quit my job to prove them wrong.

I made different formulas and tested them on myself. Like the first airplanes, most of them crashed and burned me.

After each failure I learned and the formula improved.

I believe that all of the pain was worth it because we have now helped over 200,000 women to save their intimate life
