How to tell if your AV case is mild or severe?
This depends on how many different antibiotics or antiseptics (like boric acid) that you have used to treat your AV.
If this is the first time you discovered that you have AV, but you have not tried any antibiotic or antiseptic treatment, your case may be mild, because it has not been selected by antibiotics or antiseptics.
After treatment with an antibiotic or antiseptic, 99% of the bacteria may be killed by the antibiotic or antiseptic. The 1% of bacteria may survive and grow up become resistant to this antibiotic or antiseptic. Then, your doctor may prescribe a second antibiotic. It may kill another 99%. This time the 1% survivors may grow up and become resistant to two different antibiotics or antiseptics.
