NeuEve Silk is a natural vaginal suppository developed by a gynecologist. NeuEve Silk naturally moisturizes and heals vaginal dryness and atrophy. NeuEve Silk is made with vitamins and nutrients to nourish the vaginal tissues.
What does NeuEve Silk do?
NeuEve Silk is ideal for women with severe vaginal atrophy, severe vaginal dryness, and severe painful sex.
Many women who were unable to have intimacy for over 10 years, were able to have sex again, after using NeuEve Silk for a few months.
Who's NeuEve Silk For?
We generally recommend starting with NeuEve Silk for women who are over 50 years old, or have been post-menopausal for over 5 years. NeuEve Silk is our mildest vaginal suppository.
For women who are over 60 or have been post-menopausal for over 15 years, we recommend they order NeuEve Cream to use in conjunction with NeuEve Silk.
We also recommend NeuEve Silk if you are over 40 years old and have a medical history of any of the following:
- breast or ovarian cancer treatment
- lichen sclerosus
- Sjogren's syndrome
- currently use antihypertensive drugs
- currently use antiallergic drugs
- currently use antidepressants
NeuEve does not contain any estrogen, progesterone, herbs, or drugs. That makes NeuEve perfect for women wanting to avoid hormones, (such as breast and ovarian cancer survivors and previvors). NeuEve is also perfect for women wanting to supplement their estrogen replacement therapy with something extra.
To head start recovery, you can use two packs of Silk in the first month, using one suppository every other day. After 1 month, you can switch to the suggested application frequency, using one pack per month for health maintenance.
If you are >70 or a sensitive type, you may feel a little burning when you first use Silk. If so, you can cut 1 suppository to 2 halves with a pair of scissors. Refrigerate it first helps cutting. Use a half suppository every other day reduces irritation. After 2 weeks, you may use a whole suppository without a problem.
Irritated my skin
This product irritated my skin and caused a burning sensation for days. Did not work for as I could only use it once due to the pain.
Hi Sonya, Thank you for reaching out. If you feel burning only after the product leaks out. It is normal and you will not feel any discomfort after you wipe it clean. The Silk is OK inside but why does it cause burning as it exits my body? (https://help.neueve.com/kb/burning/i-have-been-using-neueve-silk-it-is-ok-inside-but-why-does-it-cause-burning-as-it-exits-my-body) However, if you feel burning inside, you may have highly severe vaginal atrophy. Women with severe vaginal atrophy are often more sensitive to treatment products. Why women with vaginal atrophy are sensitive to treatment products? (https://help.neueve.com/kb/burning/why-women-with-vaginal-atrophy-are-more-sensitive-to-pain) This is why we have made several levels of product with different strengths. Silk is a milder one and more than 99% of women with severe vaginal atrophy can tolerate it. If you are sensitive to Silk, you may have highly severe vaginal atrophy. To reduce the sensitivity, you can cut one suppository to two halves and use one half every other day. See the attached image for cutting the suppository. Refrigerate it first helps cutting. After several weeks on half suppository, your sensitivity issue will be much reduced and you will be able to tolerate the whole product. I felt burning after using NeuEve Silk and cream. What should I do? (https://help.neueve.com/kb/burning/i-felt-burning-or-irritation-after-using-neueve-is-this-normal)
After many years of severe vaginal atrophy, I found Neueve. At first, the cream helped quickly with plumpness and the Silk was soothing. So I kept using it and sex has gotten better and better. It helped me to use a series of vaginal dilators for a short time. Sex is pain free and enjoyable again. I will continue to use the cream and Silk and highly recommend.
Seems to be helpful
I’ve had painful issues to include tearing for nearly 10 years. This may be the answer for me.
Silk Changed My Life
I am 10 years post surgical menopause and my vaginal atrophy was severe along with frequent UTI's and a diminishing sex life. Trips to the gynecologist did little to help. I was thankful to come across this product and willing to try anything. It has helped me tremendously. Thank you so much!
Has changed my life! Thank you!!!
