My story about the development of NeuEve

I am an Ob/Gyn doctor and drug developing scientist.  I would like to introduce NeuEve®, a breakthrough innovation product in woman’s health.

As a young Ob/Gyn resident doctor at the Peking Union Hospital in China, my work was mainly focused on labor, child delivery, infertility and gynecological surgeries.  In the Ob/Gyn clinic, I remembered the picture clearly that the lady’s part of many women after the menopausal age was so shrunk that insertion of a speculum was nearly impossible.  But back then I did not think the menopausal issue was a big deal, as it was only an outcome of aging, not a disease.

After coming to the United States, I have worked on women's health research based on my medical background and pharmaceutical development experience.  Since the start my own small company eight years ago, I have won five research grants (3 from NIH and 2 from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) to develop innovative products on women’s health.  I become interested in studying menopause-associated symptoms like vaginal dryness and atrophy.  Such symptoms are often more severe among breast cancer survivors who are forced into menopause due to the anti-hormonal therapy.  So far, the only method that can relieve vaginal atrophy is hormonal supplement, yet it is not always effective and cancer survivors cannot even take hormones.  Some women had to go through the vaginal reconstructive surgery to enlarge its size, but the surgery cannot restore the maturity of vaginal lining and function of glands.  Vaginal dryness is still a life-long problem in these women. The solution by surgery is temporary because tissue shrinkage continues.

There are about 3 million breast cancer survivors in the US.  Without effective treatments, the majority of these women suffers from vaginal dryness and atrophy in silence.  Sex becomes painful or even impossible.  Many women have lost marriages.  In the past year, I have witnessed several houses for sale on my street due to divorcing because of this problem.  Divorced parents are unhappy, but children of the broken family are hurt even more.  The emotional scar could be carried throughout their lives.  Celebrities are no exception.  For example, Elizabeth Edwards lost her presidential hopeful husband after treatment for breast cancer. Undoubtedly, vaginal dryness and atrophy is a significant problem of mid-aged women, especially those treated for breast cancer.

I believe that there must be a natural remedy for vaginal dryness and atrophy that breast cancer survivors can use because another menopausal symptom, osteoporosis, can be managed without hormone.  By simply taking nutritional supplements such as calcium and vitamin D, postmenopausal women can achieve full recovery from osteoporosis.  Then, what are the nutritional supplements for the vaginal tissue equivalent to calcium and vitamin D for bones?  My passion and curiosity drove me working days after days, and tried formulas after formulas on myself.  Finally, I have found a combination of nutritional supplements and developed the natural suppository, which is patented and trademarked as NeuEve®.

NeuEve® is a personal care product made with all natural, food-grade, organic and green ingredients.  It does not have any hormones, chemical drugs, artificial colors and/or preservatives.  It is not a drug, so it does not need a prescription nor FDA approval.  It is similar to a cream or lotion put on skin for moisturizing.

NeuEve® can stop and reverse vaginal shrinking, ease dryness, and make women feel younger and moisturized because it rejuvenates women’s own secretion.  It nourishes the vaginal local tissue and has a long-lasting soothing effect for over a week after the use of one suppository.  In comparison, other lubricants and moisturizers work only on the surface and for only a short time.  Many women complain that during love-making, they have to stop in the middle and reapply the lubricant, while their lady part continues shrinking.

Many friends who tried NeuEve® enjoyed it.  Several women who had severe vaginal atrophy and had not made love for many years were fully recovered by using NeuEve®.  

Because these women all treated with estrogen without effect, NeuEve® appears better than estrogen in healing vaginal atrophy. 

A plausible explanation for the ineffectiveness of the estrogen therapy in these cases could be its low dose due to the worry of potential cancer risk, as not all women respond to estrogen at low doses.  Another explanation could be missing downstream pieces of the estrogen-triggered domino effect.  For example, when estrogen reduces after menopause, osteoporosis occurs, but supplementing estrogen alone cannot restore osteoporosis unless the downstream factors, calcium and vitamin D, are also provided.  Conversely, supplementing calcium and vitamin D can restore osteoporosis even without estrogen because these nutritional supplements have a direct effect on bones. NeuEve® delivers a combination of nutrients for vaginal tissue like calcium and vitamin D for bones.  This might explain that nearly all women who used NeuEve® have rapidly recovered or improved from vaginal atrophy.

With these positive results, I become more confident about NeuEve®.  I would like to see more women benefiting from this innovative product.  Unfortunately, many women benefited from NeuEve® are too shy to talk about their experience in public especially on the web.  This could be due to social and ethnic taboos, culture barriers, and sexual conservatism.  I respect their privacy but this has limited the spread of words about NeuEve® to more women in need of help.  Today, millions of women, especially cancer survivors, are still suffering from vaginal atrophy in silence.  To help them we need to spread the words about NeuEve® to let women know about it.  When more women are happy, more families will be happy, and fewer children will grow up in broken families.  If you can help spread the words to more women in need, you can help make the world a happier place.
