All drugs need clinical trials to prove their safety and effectiveness. But, NeuEve is not a drug.
What is NeuEve?
NeuEve is a brand of products. These include suppositories and cream. They contain all-natural food-grade ingredients for relieving vaginal dryness. They do not contain any drug components.
NeuEve works by delivering nutrients to dried and atrophied vaginal skin tissue. It is like Chapstick for dried lips or facial cream for wrinkles (atrophy of the skin).
Vaginal dryness causes several noticeable discomforts. These include itching, burning, odor, and/or painful sex. After dryness relieves, these discomforts are also relieved. Thus, NeuEve is a vaginal moisturizer. Its primary purpose is to relieve dryness.
Can aging-related vaginal dryness be curable?
The answer is “No.”
Vaginal dryness is a result of aging, like wrinkles or gray. It is not a “disease” like flu. Only a disease is curable. A “non-disease” cannot be cured.
It may happen to all women who get older. As a result, no drugs can “cure” vaginal dryness.
What can we do about vaginal dryness?
The answer is maintenance. Let us use wrinkles as an example. As a most visible sign of aging, wrinkles may show up after a woman reaches 40. But, today, young women put cream on the face even before 12.
Why so early? The answer is that investment in beauty never too early. Good skin maintenance can stop or delay wrinkles. It would be too late to start putting cream on the face after wrinkles show up.
Likewise, good skin maintenance, like NeuEve, can also stop or delay vaginal dryness. Wrinkles are difficult to reverse once formed. Fortunately, NeuEve can relieve vaginal dryness after it has occurred.
If not a “disease,” why do doctors treat it with drugs?
This is a good question. Let me explain.
First, many physiological conditions are not diseases. These include wrinkles, eye bags, double chin, stretch marks, and age spots. Some may cause discomfort, while others may affect appearance. Many medical procedures (like Laser or Botox) treat these conditions. Thus, not all medical treatments are targeting a real disease.
Second, not all drugs can provide a cure for a disease. For example, the most effective drug for diabetes is insulin. But insulin can only manage, but not cure diabetes. Without a cure, a diabetic patient must use drugs to manage the disease for life.
Thus, many estrogen-related drugs are used to manage vaginal dryness.
Like insulin for diabetes, none of these estrogen-related drugs provides a cure. A woman with vaginal dryness must use these drugs for life. Unfortunately, these drugs have deadly side effects if used in the long-term. These include increased risks for cancer, heart attack, and stroke.
Is there a safer alternative?
Yes! This is why we have developed NeuEve.
People do not use a hormonal drug to treat dried lips. They use lip balm or Chapstick. A simple cosmetic product can do the job.
Likewise, NeuEve for vaginal dryness is like lip balm or Chapstick for dried lips. A simple cosmetic product can relieve vaginal dryness.
How does NeuEve work without hormone?
This article explains it.
How long has NeuEve been on the market?
NeuEve has been on the market for 8 years. To date, it has helped over 100,000 women with vaginal dryness to find relief.
We just received a customer review today:
“This product saved our sex life! My wife and I are in our 70s, so this was important to us to remain intimate. We started with the introductory product. We found that gold was too strong, and silver is perfect. My wife uses it once a week. This is a dream true for us. Thank You.“
For a woman over 70, even estrogen does not work well. NeuEve appeared to work well for both young and old women. The oldest woman who has benefited from NeuEve is 92 (who has a younger husband).
Do you have clinical trials to support NeuEve?
NeuEve is not a drug. Thus, a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial is not required.
Placebo-controlled clinical trials are important to test a new drug of unknown effect or unobvious effect. Yet, it is not needed to test for a well-known and obviously effective product. You do not need to test if water can quench thirst, and bread can cure hanger, because their effects are obvious. People have consumed water and bread for centuries without conducting a double-blind and placebo-controlled “clinical trial.”
Another good example is parachute. Parachute use to prevent death related to gravitational free-fall has never been tested by a clinical trial. This does not stop the use of the parachute as a protecting gear in aviation.
Likewise, growing old is like a gravitational free-fall. It is not like certain diseases, such as flu that can self-cure. There is no placebo effect that can stop aging. Thus, the effect of age-reversal products is like the parachute. We can test them by direct application on people without placebo-control. If it stops or reverses aging, it is effective because aging is like a gravitational free-fall. There is no placebo effect that can stop aging.
Customer survey data
We have recently conducted customer surveys for vaginal dryness and atrophy relief. A total of 267 customers participated in the survey. The average age was 60, ranged from 39 to 77, all postmenopausal. About 36% of customers reported relief within 1 week, 78% within 1 month, and 92% within 6 months.
NeuEve has another product, BV Clear, for relieving bacterial vaginosis (BV). One pack contains 3 suppositories. Using 1 suppository every 3 days.
For the effect of BV Clear, 98 customers participated in the survey, 25 with new BV, and 73 with recurrent BV. About 17% reported relief in less than 3 hours after using the first BV Clear suppository. About 60% (recurrent BV) to 75% (new BV) cases reported relief within 24 hours. About 85% (recurrent BV) to 96% (new BV) cases reported relief after using 2 suppositories in 5 days. About 90% of recurrent cases reported relief in 9 days after using 3 suppositories.
How is NeuEve priced?
Because insurance covers estrogen and antibiotics, their costs to customers are copayments. These products are among the low-cost products.
NeuEve is among the high-cost feminine care products. We make NeuEve with high-quality, all-natural, and organic ingredients. The cost is high and we cannot lower its price to compete with low-cost items that do not work.
For example, vaginal douche is among the lowest-cost feminine care products. But, it has a high-profit margin due to a low production cost. Its major ingredient is water, which costs nothing. In the United States, doctors do not recommend douche as it harms women’s health. One in five women 15 to 44 years old douche. The reason is affordability. When a woman gets a feminine odor, the cheapest self-care product is douche.
Most customers do not buy high-cost products at first. They often start with low-cost products. These include douche and insurance-covered drugs like estrogen or antibiotics. After several low-cost products fail, they would try medium-cost products. After these products fail again, they realize that they have wasted money. Their cases may be severe and they may need to pay more for a better product. This is when they buy NeuEve.
When NeuEve helps them to find relief, they realize that NeuEve is more effective and less costly. Had these customers used NeuEve first, they could have found relief sooner and saved a lot of money, time, and suffer.
How about customer return rate?
NeuEve products are on Amazon. Amazon has a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Since NeuEve is expensive, customers can return the unused products to get a refund if they do not like them.
In the past 7 years, the return rate of all NeuEve products has been between 1% and 1.4%. This means that NeuEve has been effective in more than 98.5% of all customers who have used it.
The average return rate for all products sold on Amazon is 10%. The return rate of NeuEve is lower than the average return rate of other products sold on Amazon.
To date, there have been more than 100,000 women who have used NeuEve and found relief.
